SummaryResponsible for performing a wide variety of electrical and mechanical assignments. Apply skills, experience, and general knowledge to a wide range of maintenance tasks and support plant leadership.
Core Functions- Perform a wide variety of electrical installations and maintenance work on plant electrical systems and equipment to support uninterrupted power and lighting.
- Make electrical, plumbing, and general repairs to buildings; troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery throughout the facility.
- Diagnose and remedy electrical or electronic troubles, replacing equipment as needed.
- Coordinate operation and installation of “download” systems from the computer network to machine controllers.
- Obtain a forklift operator’s license and safely operate a forklift.
- Perform mechanical tasks as required and assigned.
- Enter data and notes into a computerized maintenance management system.
- Maintain company tools and furnish own tools as needed.
- Fabricate, maintain, join, and cut ferrous and nonferrous metal parts using welding techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to plan, layout, and install complex wiring circuits in compliance with NEC and other codes.
- Skill in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues.
- Ability to read a tape measure, perform basic calculations, and use a calculator.
- Willingness to learn production operations.
- Strong mechanical background and aptitude for solving mechanical problems.

Minimum
Required:
- Vocational or technical degree and a minimum of six years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience combination.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery.
- Ability to use and interpret technical drawings, schematics, symbols, and ladder logic.
- Understanding of mechanical drawings and complex part drawings.
Preferred:
- Welding and fabrication experience, preferably with pre‑engineered metal buildings.
- Knowledge of motor controls (drivers) AC and DC and automated controllers such as AMS systems and CNC controllers.
- Understanding of safety procedures and adherence to safety protocols.
