- The Animal Blood Bank of NWA
supplies plasma and packed red blood cells to our patients and clinics throughout Northwest Arkansas and the Alliance network. As a Criticalist, you’ll have immediate access to lifesaving transfusion products when seconds matter.

K9 Trauma Response Program
We proudly train local K9 police units in field trauma response and supply them with complete trauma kits, helping protect the working dogs that protect our communities.

A Strong, Skilled Support Team
We are proud to employ a large team of dedicated Certified Veterinary Technicians, including multiple CVTs pursuing ECC certification. You'll work alongside a cohesive and highly trained staff that allows you to focus on your expertise.

Job Description

We’re looking for a Criticalist who is confident managing hospitalized patients and critical care cases in a busy emergency setting. Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative spirit are key.

Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board eligible Veterinary Crticalist
  • DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school.
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in Arkansas.
  • Previous experience in emergency or critical care preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to client education.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-doctor environment.
  • Compassionate, Team Player and Strong Communicator
