Ozark Veterinary Specialty Care islooking fora Certified Veterinary Technician
to join our growing Internal Medicine team!

Experience & Skills Requirements
  • Certified Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) HIGHLY preferred or pending licensure-Experienced Veterinary Assistants with specialty experience are encouraged to apply.
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience-required/specialty experience is highly preferred-internal medicine experience is a bonus
  • Anesthesia experience is REQUIRED
Role Responsibilities, Skills, and Knowledge
  • Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
  • With each hospital function,assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity andmaintainpositive patient flow.
  • Assist with surgeries and procedure sin accordance withyour state's Veterinary Practice Act outlined for credentialed veterinary technicians-this may include, but isnot limited to: anesthesia, ultrasound/CT/MRI, endoscopy, bone marrow biopsy, etc.
  • Assistinmaintainingrelevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems.
  • Obtain relevant health history and information from clients andmaintainmedical charts.
  • Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
  • Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate starting at $17-25/ hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
