Fork Lift Operator - 2nd Shift

Job Summary

The Forklift Operator is responsible for helping to maintain and keep the freezer clean; loading and unloading incoming and outbound loads. Track shipments via written and computerized documents. Also helps with organizing and maintaining existing inventory.

• Load outbound customers
• Unload inbound customers
• Keep freezer clean and organized
• Complete BOL's and movement forms via computerized documents
• All other duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• One year of forklift experience required.
• Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite.

• Organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
• Must be able to perform tasks that include reading, writing and mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

• Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, bend and kneel.
• Frequently must push, pull, move, carry or lift up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly required reach with hands and arms.

Job functions will be carried out in a rendering facility which requires tolerance for wet and/or slippery floors, moderate noise levels, exposure to protein by-products and high heat and/or cold temperatures.
