Job Description

Full‑time term Intermediate/Secondary English Language Arts Classroom Teacher with Other Teaching Duties position. Duties to commence September 2, 2025 to November 28, 2025, or until incumbent returns (maternity leave).

  • Provide evidence of how to shape a safe and positive learning environment for students and families.
  • Demonstrate a love of learning and an ability to build learner and leadership capacity.
  • Provide evidence and understanding of the impact of effective assessment practices.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Education.
  • Appropriate Training Methods.
  • Equivalencies will be considered.
Salary and Benefits

Annual teacher salary scale contained within the NLTA Provincial Collective Agreement and benefits contained within the agreement.

Applicants without the required qualifications may be considered in accordance with Clause 37.01 (d) of the provincial collective agreement.
