Zone Nurse Practitioner

Position: Central Zone Nurse Practitioner
Be a vital part of the HCS Family Care Team as a Nurse Practitioner at the Green Bay Health Center in Springdale, Central Zone. This temporary position focuses on patient-centered, holistic care delivery.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive assessments and lead clinic operations while working with a collaborative healthcare team to improve patient outcomes. You will manage diagnoses, treatment plans, and health promotion activities while maintaining documentation using the Electronic Medical Record system. Your commitment to person-centered care will enable you to build trusting relationships with patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership and comprehensive patient assessments

• Diagnose conditions and prescribe appropriate treatments

• Collaborate with healthcare team for patient management

• Document patient care effectively using EMR

• Engage in quality improvement and clinic evaluations

Requirements:

• Approval from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

• Registration with the Nurses Association of Newfoundland and Labrador

• Current BLS certification and a Class 5 Driver’s License

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Satisfactory conduct certificate from local authorities
