Job OverviewAs an Oracle Operations Leader, you will lead the operations of our Oracle ERP instances, managing a talented and diverse team. You will collaborate closely with business leaders, product owners, and Oracle Corp to ensure smooth execution and operations. As we transition to cloud technology, experience with Oracle Fusion is a significant asset. Additionally, you will support various tools integrated into our ERP and work on improving system performance and availability.
Your responsibilities will include assessing current capabilities, developing strategies for improvement, and enhancing overall system performance.
- Proactively use data, practical knowledge, and innovative insights to drive timely decisions, forecast future needs, and manage risk and uncertainty for the team.
- Operate and manage Oracle EBS environments through a team of indirect resources.
- Act as Oracle EBS subject matter expert to advise on impact of program/changes to environment.
- Navigate ambiguity, prioritize conflicting asks, and show adaptability with changing priorities while collaborating with stakeholders and influencing decisions.
- Lead the team through the completion of all project phases.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to drive automation and common tools/processes across ERPs.
- Drive day‑to‑day operational tempos through standard work, establishing lean rigor within the team and influencing lean activities across the organization.
- Coordinate activities for strategic business rhythms including MRO, Growth Play Book, and annual budget planning.
- Coordinate transfer‑to‑operations (TTO) activities for all new products deployed into Oracle Golf ERP system, ensuring appropriate coverage and highlighting indirect resource adjustments.
- Establish a “product view” framework for Oracle Golf ERP and maintain engagement with DT and business partners for continuous improvement and business execution.
- Work with the Sr. Operations Director to establish vision and drive strategy for data technology platforms, quality strategy, and organizational/resource planning.
- Create a culture of customer focus and high performance to drive innovation through continuous customer engagement.
- Demonstrate strategic level skills in influencing decisions and maintaining a strategic perspective.
- Interact at all levels of the organization and with other GE businesses.
- Demonstrate experience with Oracle ERP 12.x, OCI, SQL, Unix, and Appworx.
- Understand Agile principles.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, OR associate’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience, OR high school diploma with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the technology space, with emphasis on Oracle ERP technical support or information technology. (A Master’s degree and 6 years of experience is also acceptable.)
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. This position does not sponsor employment visas.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with Oracle applications on premise and in cloud solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Good understanding of Oracle Fusion technology.
- Demonstrated interest in current and emerging technologies through training, job experience, or industry activities.
