Personal Shopper Lead - Sam's at Sam's Club

Responsibilities
  • Assists management with the supervision of associates in an assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures.
  • Provides direction and guidance to associates on member service approaches and techniques to ensure member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports the Open Door Policy while participating in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, coaching, and evaluating associates.
  • Maintains the safety of the facility according to company policies, conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
  • Supports the Sam’s Club e‑commerce plan in the club by overseeing operations of the e‑commerce programs (Club Pick‑Up, Ship From Club, etc.), auditing online customer feedback, and working to resolve complaints and Escalate unresolved issues to management.
  • Supervises associates supporting the e‑commerce programs by training, providing resources, assigning duties, and ensuring associate coverage at the e‑commerce pickup location.
  • Executes the Sam’s Club Pickup plan and processes by updating club operations with key performance indicators, auditing customer orders, ensuring correct fulfillment, maintaining equipment readiness, evaluating performance, and providing training.
  • Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying member needs, providing guidance on self‑service technology, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services.
  • Ensures maintenance of the sales floor and merchandise presentation, handling claims and returns, zoning/stocking, arranging displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile or high‑shrink merchandise.
  • Oversees the picking and staging of club pick‑up orders, ensuring products are selected and staged according to company policy.
  • Develops, communicates and implements processes and practices to meet business needs through collaboration, analysis of multiple information sources, monitoring progress, and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrates, promotes and supports compliance with company policies, procedures and ethics, and assists management with correcting ethical and compliance issues.
  • Leads and participates in teams by coordinating work assignments, providing advice and feedback, ensuring timelines and quality, and modeling how to adapt to change or new challenges.
  • Shows respect for diversity, builds strong teamwork, and fosters an inclusive culture where associates feel supported and connected.
  • Acts with integrity, maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance, and holds oneself and others accountable to Walmart’s values.
