Vertex Inc. is seeking a Tax Processing Specialist to prepare 700+ monthly sales and use tax returns for level 2-3 clients, applying in-depth compliance knowledge and independent judgment.
You will onboard new clients and data files, review tax data for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and mentor 1-3 junior staff. You’ll use Vertex Indirect Tax Returns (VITR), Alteryx, and RPA to boost efficiency; peak periods 5th–20th monthly.
