Work LocationOnsite. Locations:
Jacksonville, IL and Springfield, IL.
Hourly: $21.11–$25.00 per hour.

The On‑Site Services Representative (OSR) reports to a Supervisor or Manager of On‑Site Services and supports assigned customers by managing their inventory, providing outstanding customer service, and driving account growth through Grainger’s Keep Stock program. OSRs also work with partners to implement sales strategy and help customers understand how Grainger can meet their MRO needs.
You Will Customer Service- Service multiple customer locations, receiving and stocking purchased products and ensuring appropriate stocking levels.
- Gain knowledge of Grainger’s offerings and help improve orders through system integration.
- Resolve customer problems promptly to retain and promote customer loyalty.
- Follow designated routes defined by routing software tools and maintain route guides.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities in productivity, process, and cycle time.
- Comply with safety and inspection requirements of each facility.
- Help create new orders by engaging with customers to identify additional product needs.
- Probe for customer needs during each site visit and work with sales partners to expand offerings.
- Participate in quarterly reviews with customers and sales partners to assess viability of Inventory Solutions offerings.
- 3 years of experience in a selling or service environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service and sales growth orientation.
- Collaboration and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to handle different technical and operational issues.
- Valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
- Required automobile insurance levels.
