HSHS Medical Group is a multispecialty medical group made up of over 350 providers across 60 clinics throughout central and southern Illinois inclusive of a robust primary care referral base supporting our General Surgery practices. Position Details:
- Monday - Friday clinic schedule with option of 4 day work week- 7 days per month of call & inpatient rounds while on call
- Minimal after hours clinic call- EPIC EMR
- Dedicated support staff
Position Requirements :
- Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery- M.D., D.O., or professional equivalent degree
Pay Range: $486,268-$613,988

Education Qualifications
- Clinical doctorate is required.
Experience Qualifications
- Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
- Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
- Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
- Must be board certified or board eligible.
