• Certified Level I Trauma Center and Certified Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Teaching hospital affiliated with Southern Illinois University School of Medicine
• Advanced surgery centers
• Case assignments include general, ortho, cardiac, pediatrics, OB, and more

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Compensation

• Salary: $600K
• Cardiac stipend: $100K
• Sign-on bonus: $75K

Qualifications

• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• TEE proficiency is required
• Completion of Cardiac Fellowship
• ECFMG and FLEX
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a physician
