Employment Type& Schedule
Full‑time (40 hours per week).
Work schedule:
7:30 am–5:30 pm, Monday‑Friday. Remote work is not available.
7 paid holidays, paid winter break, 4‑day work week in summer for 12 weeks, 2 personal days, 15 sick days, 10 vacation days. Tuition waiver for staff, spouse and qualified dependent children. SalaryStarting salary range is $37,703 – $43,012 per year ($18.13–$20.68 per hour) based on education, training, experience and skills.
Required Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of college (30 semester hours) with at least 12 semester hours in courses related directly to Child Care or Child Development.
- One year of previous experience in a child‑care setting.
- Must have or be able to attain an ECE Credential Level II or higher.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to obtain a Food Service Sanitation Certificate.
- Current physical and TB test and a current record of immunizations, including 1 dose of Tdap and 2 doses of MMR vaccine or evidence of immunity to MMR.
- Associate’s degree in Child Development/Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
- ECE Credential Level IV and paraprofessional licensure.
- Carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Walk up to 1 mile.
- Grip, hold and pinch small objects.
- Dexterity to reach, bend, squat, stoop and kneel on a regular basis.
- Frequent climbing (e.g., ladders, stairs).
