Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC) seeks a dedicated Student Success Advisor to build supportive relationships with students and help them achieve their educational goals by teaching them decision‑making skills and providing personalized guidance.
Employment Details- Position:
Full Time - Hours:
40 per week (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) - Work schedule:
12 months per year - Remote work:
No - Pay range: $51,911 – $60,250 annually
- Required:
Availability through evening and weekend hours when necessary (at least one night per week after 6 PM); occasional early mornings or late afternoons during peak periods
As the Student Success Advisor, you will:
- Develop and maintain supportive relationships with students across campus.
- Assist students in setting realistic educational goals and developing action plans.
- Provide guidance on academic resources, financial aid, time management, and career pathways.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to address students’ needs.
- Track student progress and recommend interventions when necessary.
- Contribute to program evaluation and continuous improvement efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree or extensive relevant work experience, or an appropriate combination of education and experience.
- One year of experience in an educational setting.
- Proven ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Detail oriented, capable of multi‑tasking, and good time‑management skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and Microsoft Office.
- Open to working evenings and weekend hours as required.
- Master’s degree in Higher Education, College Student Personnel, or a related field.
- Experience working within a community college environment.
