Field Service Engineer – Chicago, IL (Company Vehicle)

You will be the eyes and ears of Videojet, delivering service and support to customers while traveling throughout the region. You will work closely with an office‑based technical support team and never be on the job alone.

The Field Service Engineer provides ongoing care for Videojet equipment, installs products, diagnoses issues, and builds trusted advisor relationships with customers. You will promote service agreements and new technology while ensuring customer satisfaction.

This role is based in Chicago, IL – Northwest Indiana or the surrounding areas and is fully remote. You will travel 100 % within a 2‑hour radius of Chicago, with occasional overnight trips. For training you will attend consecutive weeks in Wood Dale, including weekends. You will be supplied with a company‑provided vehicle for travel.

• Travel within a 2‑hour radius of Chicago, with occasional overnight travel.
• Provide ongoing care and support for customer equipment.
• Install Videojet products and solutions at customer locations.
• Diagnose and resolve challenges and problems.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with customers and develop excellent relationships.
• Promote service agreements and newer technology to extend Videojet’s footprint in the market.

• Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel (initial training requires consecutive weeks in Wood Dale, including weekends).
• 2 years of technical experience repairing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing diverse equipment.
• Basic computer and technical skills (email, software applications, Microsoft Word).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

The compensation range for this role is $28.00‑$30.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
