Electrical Engineer
Prairie Engineers, P.C. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to manage interior and exterior lighting projects for military and institutional facilities. This role involves planning, design, construction administration, and oversight from project initiation through completion.
Responsibilities- Plan, design, and oversee the construction administration of interior and exterior lighting for military and institutional facilities.
- Conduct site inspections and provide guidance to contractors during construction.
- Maintain focus on timely project delivery and superior client service with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. - Experience:
5 years of prior engineering experience. - Licensure:
Current Professional Engineer in Illinois or the ability to obtain within the first 6 months of employment. - Software:
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Positively engages with challenges, facilitates problem‑solving, and takes initiative to deliver solutions. - Responsive:

Salary range: $75,000 - $150,000 determined by education, experience, licensure, and the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
