• Safely manage day‑to‑day operations of refinery processes, finished fuels, and water treatment programs.
• Lead a team of Account Representatives and Technicians at the customer’s location.
• Develop trusted relationships with customers and cross‑functional teams to promote collaboration.
• Apply account‑management fundamentals to understand customer needs, requirements, and potential sales opportunities while supporting the account P&L.
• Identify and coordinate numerous projects of varying complexity to bring value to our customers.
• Monitor and report performance of existing treatment programs.
• Collaborate with team members to drive technical sales and innovative solutions that bring value to customers.
• Collect and interpret data for troubleshooting, service reports, meetings, reviews, and presentations delivered to customers.
• Provide field support, laboratory analysis, and technical guidance for customers on issues, projects, turn‑arounds, shut‑downs, and daily operations.
• Manage chemical inventories and deliveries at the customer location.

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering (preferred) or a similar discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in refining, supporting hydrocarbon process and finished fuels additives treatment programs.
• Strong understanding of industrial chemical treatment technology and sales process.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Previous experience working in a laboratory setting and/or familiarity with analytical methods and interpretation.
• A comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and refinery market conditions.
• Ability to present complex technical content to various levels of internal and external organizations in a clear and concise manner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to drive a company vehicle and hold a clean motor vehicle record.
• TWIC Card or ability to obtain a TWIC Card.
• Residence within commuting distance to Lemont, IL.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 7 am–4 pm, with availability for after‑hours support as required.

The annual pay scale for this position is between $76,800.00 and $.

Baker Hughes will issue a non‑bias competitive offer; the salary range posted reflects the projected hiring range for new hires, full‑time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits.
