• Design and develop NI-based test case engine features and define metrics for test automation using NI LabVIEW.
• Provide technical support to internal and client engineering teams, applying systems engineering principles to develop and execute testing plans for mechanical and telematics systems.
• Perform hardware and software validation, including regression and feature testing, and simulate mechanical systems using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Create 3D CAD models of test fixtures, racks, and enclosures using CATIA V5 and AutoCAD.
• Design test hardware systems with consideration for heat load, EMI, vibration, and structural integrity.
• Generate detailed 2D drawings, BOMs, and fabrication files for prototype and production builds.
• Collaborate with controls engineers to integrate mechanical and electrical test system elements and ensure automated test sequences are properly implemented.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and mechanical failure investigations using engineering analysis principles.
• Manage test equipment sourcing, fabrication, and validation with internal and external suppliers.
• Analyze test results and prepare engineering validation reports recommending design and process improvements.

NI LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, CATIA V5, AutoCAD, Solid Works, ANSYS, MS Excel, and various data acquisition systems.

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
