Transportation Planner

As a member of an interdisciplinary team, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Develop various types of transportation plans.
• Prepare planning, traffic, and safety studies.
• Analyze transportation systems and various types of data and information.
• Interpret data from traffic modeling software and GIS.
• Perform alternative analyses.
• Prepare technical reports and documents.
• Evaluate transportation related reports, plans, policies, and procedures.
• Define transportation planning issues and priorities.
• Support proactive public and stakeholder engagement.
• Cooperate and coordinate with other team members and subconsultants.
• Meet project schedules and budgets.

• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science, or higher, degree in engineering, environmental science, urban planning, economics, geography, or related field from an accredited university.
• Proven ability to communicate technical and complex information, both verbally and written.

• At least 5 years of experience in transportation planning or engineering field supporting transportation projects.
