Salary: $95,000–$115,000 per year

This is an opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to serve as a key technical partner between Project Managers, customers, engineers, subcontractors, and manufacturing, while taking ownership of MEP design coordination within a BIM environment. Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop detailed MEP layouts, schematics, schedules, and construction documentation within a BIM environment.
- Partner with Project Managers, customers, engineers, subcontractors, sales, and shop personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review project drawings, specifications, phasing plans, MEP system interrelationships, construction sequencing, and project schedules.
- Coordinate MEP systems and facilitate problem-solving between subcontractors during construction.
- Identify MEP design issues and develop practical alternative solutions.
- Incorporate field changes, client markups, and as-built information into drawings and project deliverables.
- Assist with MEP scope reviews, budgeting, and change-order justification.
- Create, coordinate, and administer MEP-related material, system, and shop drawing submittals.
- Maintain accurate design documentation, version control, and quality records.
- Create, manipulate, and coordinate Revit families, views, browser structures, sheets, schedules, filters, and work sets.
- Utilize Autodesk Navisworks and Autodesk Design Review for coordination and 3D design activities.
- Integrate spreadsheets, photographs, images, and other documentation into Revit projects and deliverables.
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Must have at least 5+ years of relevant mechanical design experience in Revit.
- Must be fluent in Autodesk Revit with the ability to design Revit families and work with Revit modeling and coordination.
- Strong ability to read and interpret 2D plans electronically and in hard copy.
- Proficiency with Autodesk Navisworks and Autodesk Design Review.
- Working knowledge of 3D layout and design.
- Strong drafting and CAD capabilities.
