Seasonal Tax Advisor

Berger Financial Group is seeking a Seasonal Tax Advisor to join our team from the months of January to April of 2026 . The ideal candidate will have expertise in tax planning, & compliance. Responsibilities include preparing tax returns, staying updated on tax laws, and ensuring clients meet their tax obligations. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality are essential for this role.

• Preparation of individual, trust, and small business income tax returns (partnerships and S corporations), including necessary accounting, preparing and processing estimates and extensions
• Data entry of client information into tax software, Ultra Tax (Net Client CS)
• Track flow of work using internal systems (Sales Force)
• Manage client documentation and bookmarking via Adobe PDF

• CPA or EA
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Have one (2) or more years of experience in tax or accounting
• Experience with tax software (2 years’ experience)
• Self-starting person who can work well independently, but still be a team player
• Ability to meet deadlines and effectively handle stressful situations; and to juggle multiple projects
• Exceptional client service, professionalism, and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships
• Have the ability to manage confidential financial data in a professional manner
