Diversified Services is seeking a Fiscal Consultant who will be responsible for auditing and analyzing ongoing projects with county or state agencies.

Responsibilities:

Manage multiple projects
Participate in State agencies meetings and internal staff meetings
Examine and participate in audits on current States’ programs
Run quarterly claim reports for state agencies
Develop strong understanding of State agencies practice and system
Work with Business consultant and IT development team
Create meeting notes
Create project schedules and maintain project schedule

Education:

Bachelor’s in finance or Accounting, Mathematics or Public Policy

Preferred Education:

Master’s in accounting, Finance or Public Policy

CPA or any other accounting certification

Requirements:

1 to 2 years of experience

Experience with large scale audits

Experience with accounting systems

Experience with financial system

Strong note taker and ability to learn and grow into the role

Strong written and oral communication skills

Strong understanding of basic accounting Principals

Preference to be fluent in a foreign language.
