The Director DTS (Dedicated Transportation Solutions) Pricing will lead the DTS and TM (Transportation Management) business segments' pricing and other financial analysis activities. The role develops a detailed understanding of Ryder’s business model and pricing strategy, partnering with Operations and Sales leadership to deliver strategic initiatives and business objectives, including pricing and commercial strategy to retain and win new business. Pricing guidelines and processes must be adhered to.

• Manage a team of ~5 people—workflow management, performance management, development and retention.
• Enhance and update pricing models.
• Lead pricing initiatives for large deals and support the team on deals.
• Gather cost data for costing analysis and analyze alternative pricing and billing strategies.
• Create and present pricing strategies to internal organization and potential clients.
• Conduct contract review, analysis, and negotiation.

• Continue to review and enhance pricing best practices and techniques, collaborating with Director SCS Pricing.
• Ensure pricing models keep pace with evolving customer and market trends.
• Work with DTS Field Finance to support Rated (Pricing) v Actual application and analysis, incorporating learnings into pricing models to drive accuracy.
• Own the Dynamic Deal Scoring (DDS) tool; complete quarterly data updates and annual benchmark reviews.
• Provide financial support to sell cost‑competitive and profitable deals that meet or exceed company hurdle rates.
• Highlight risk and complexity areas and advise on mitigation strategies.
• Support sales and operations teams with general business and financial support.
• Incorporate risks into pricing models and advise on mitigation.
• Structure financial aspects of a deal.
• Deliver well‑documented, timely pricing deliverables (e.g., pricing templates).
• Enforce costing/pricing processes per corporate guidelines.
• Influence senior team members when necessary.
• Develop and manage relationships with the Ryder Field organization and other HQ groups.
• Engage other Ryder functional experts as required.
• Work with the team to develop and present bids and solutions to customers as needed.

• Advanced Excel skills required; advanced Excel financial modeling preferred.
• Knowledge of Power BI and other business intelligence tools preferred.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent team management and organizational skills, including workflow planning and multitasking.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business.

Eight (8) years or more in strategic cost management.

0-10%.

Home office; 2 days per month in office, depending on location.

Financial Analysis.

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including relevant experience, education, location, market data, internal equity, etc. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan. Compensation ranges are below:
