OverviewIntuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as Turbo Tax Live Seasonal Local Service Associates in one of our new Turbo Tax locations across the United States on a seasonal basis. This unique opportunity combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs. As a Turbo Tax Live – Seasonal Local Service Associate, you will serve as a trusted advisor, empowering customers to achieve positive financial outcomes while supporting Intuit’s mission of “Powering Prosperity Around the World.”
Aboutthe Role
In this role, you will work on-site at a Turbo Tax location, serving customers both in-person and virtually using Intuit Turbo Tax products. You will leverage your tax expertise to provide full service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and product support. Your ability to demonstrate understanding of each customer’s unique situation and connect with them on a personal level is critical to alleviating the stress some may feel when tackling their taxes.
Whether assisting with simple W‑2 filings, navigating life events (marriage, children, elder care), or handling more complex tax scenarios like business income, amendments, or investments, you will serve as the go‑to expert for your clients.
- Provide tax expertise – Give hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for Turbo Tax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments). Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax‑planning advice.
- Be a proactive community ambassador – Cultivate a robust customer base for Turbo Tax, serving as the local face of Turbo Tax. Actively engage with prospects, nurture leads, and convert them into long‑term clients through outreach and local events.
- Educate and communicate confidently – Represent Turbo Tax in the local community, host learning events, participate in local marketing efforts, and demystify taxes.
- Build relationships – Build long‑term trust with clients by demonstrating sensitivity to their financial concerns.
- Deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience – Interact with customers in‑person and through Intuit’s video communication tools, addressing inquiries and overcoming tax‑related challenges.

- Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law.
- Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax‑preparation software.
- Familiarity with Circular 230.
- Willing and available to work a static weekly schedule with a minimum of 24 hours per week at a Turbo Tax location.
- Interest in building a local and online social presence for Turbo Tax, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
- Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

- Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
Pay ranges vary by location and are competitive with strong pay‑for‑performance incentives. Additionally, the position may be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.
