Position Overview

Under general supervision, trains, directs, organizes, plans, and facilitates the functions and activities of regional HRA panels in the disposition of alleged disability rights violations committed by service providers and in matters of special education. Organizes, directs, and guides on-site investigations conducted by a regional authority. Directs and facilitates scheduled regional authority public meetings in accordance with the Open Meetings Act and compliance with HRA program mandates especially regarding special education matters.

Finally, position will conduct public outreach to expand awareness and participatory interest in the HRA program via involvement in community activities and events, sponsoring informational and educational public presentations highlighting the program, distributing outreach materials, and disseminating information.
