The Office of the Legislative Inspector General (OLIG) is seeking a Legislative Inspector General. Per the Illinois State Officials and Employees Ethics Act (5 ILCS 430/Art. 25), the OLIG is an independent office with its own appropriation.
The LIG will be appointed on the basis of integrity and demonstrated ability, and the term will expire on June 30, 2028. This is a contractual payroll position, with pay negotiated and capable of full-time, part-time, or contractual capacity.
