Location

Springfield Residential – 2200 Lake Victoria Dr, Springfield, IL 62703

Schedule

Mon – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM; includes one evening shift and rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Providing clinical supervision to staff responsible for delivering services to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
• Overseeing client services and ensuring compliance with established program standards and service delivery objectives.
• Auditing client records.
• Assisting in interviewing, selecting, evaluating, scheduling, and disciplining assigned staff.
• Orienting and training staff.
• Serving as a resource to assigned staff in identifying and resolving complex case problems.
• Assuming client caseload in response to workload or staffing shortages.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
• Supervising assigned staff in hospital settings pursuant to a federal grant.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a closely related field required.
• Current certification as a substance abuse counselor (CADC) or higher licensure (LPC, LSW) in the state of hire required.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience in the treatment of substance abuse with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Related work experience with a program‑specific population (adolescent/adult) and residential treatment setting required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk and move about the facilities for up to two hours at a time, to monitor and interact with clients.
• Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to record, proofread and check documents and files for accuracy, to prepare and analyze data and figures, transcribe, read.
• Ability to use a keyboard and video display terminal to receive, retrieve, and/or audit information and data.
• Ability to respond to telephones, and to hear and detect alarms and unusual noises.

Compensation

• Range begins at $70,000 – $97,498 per year.
• Gateway Foundation conducts annual reviews including merit increases.
