Salary: USD $29.44/Hr. to USD $45.64/Hr.

Full Time, Day Shift, 6:30am-3:00pm, Every other weekend

Sign-on Bonus: $20,000!

• College graduate, Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
• Registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP or equivalent) required.
• Three to five years experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist and at least two years as a level II Medical Laboratory Scientist, with in-depth knowledge of global laboratory operations.

• Perform various laboratory tests, evaluate data, and correlate results with pathologic and physiologic states.
• Evaluate and calculate quality control statistics to assess accuracy and validity of laboratory methods.
• Perform analytical and decision-making functions independently, recognize unexpected results, and take corrective action.
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of teaching materials.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, diagnose instrument malfunctions, and operate all instrumentation.
• Develop and evaluate new test procedures, monitor for errors, and write technical procedures.
• Manage laboratory specimens, ensure quality and timeliness of results, and investigate problems.
• Maintain records, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and perform other duties as assigned.
