As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with The Menta Group, you will work with students to help them improve and develop the skills needed for daily life and work, according to their IEPs.
Position Details:
- Direct-Hire, ongoing employment
- Staff
Hours:
7 a.m. to 3 p.m. M-F, following a 10-month school calendar
Responsibilities:
- Provide educational support for students during times of confusion, frustration, and emotional upset.
- Develop and update IEP goals and progress reports for your student caseload.
- Provide Occupational Therapy services and carry out individual treatment plans as specified in the IEP.
- Maintain accurate related service logs updated weekly and communicate with administrative staff, teachers, and other service providers as needed or directed by the IEP.
Qualifications:
- COTA Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with IDFPR certification or proof of application.
- Ability to work effectively with students with ED/BD/OHI/Autism/TBI.
