Position Title

Part Time NICU/Pediatric Dietitian – Springfield, IL

About the Role

Reports to Clinical Nutrition Manager at Morrison Healthcare at HSHS St John’s.

Location:

Morrison Healthcare at HSHS St John’s. 24 hours per week (part‑time) in the inpatient neonatal nutrition team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive medical nutrition therapy: assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention for patients with gastrointestinal disorders, inborn errors of metabolism, failure to thrive, and nutrition support.
  • Follow the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
  • Comply with all regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies; maintain HIPAA confidentiality and patient rights.
  • Train and mentor patient services staff and interns as applicable.
  • Participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility‑wide Quality Assurance / Performance Improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, in states where required.
  • One (1) year of hospital experience (preferred).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming.
Salary & Compensation

Salary: $25–$32 per hour, depending on experience.

Other compensation: meal plan, CEU credits, and CDR dues paid.
