OverviewAs an MRI Technologist I, you will coordinate and perform all tasks required to acquire high-quality magnetic resonance images. Continuously improve your educational and technological skills related to current and future MRI technology.

3:00PM-11:30PM

$20,000 Sign-on Bonus!
QualificationsEducation:
- Previous MRI physics coursework preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registry:
- ARRT registered in Radiography or Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or registry eligible. The maximum allowable time to practice in a "registration pending" status is three months unless otherwise specified by the licensing body.
- If not ARRT registered in MRI, you must become ARRT MRI registered within 24 months of accepting the position.
- Maintain BLS CPR Certification.
Experience:
- At least three (3) years of experience as a technologist with documented skill advancement preferred.
- Operational background and/or experience with microcomputers preferred.
Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and guest relations skills required.
- Ability to adapt to ongoing technological changes.
- Perform various MRI procedures on outpatients of all ages, following established standards, policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines.
- Perform MRI procedures on inpatients (General, IMC, and ICU) of all ages, according to standards and protocols.
- Support Neuro-specific MRI procedures for Comprehensive Stroke Designation.
- Stay current with departmental protocol updates.
- Maintain excellent guest relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and staff.
- Perform emergency and routine patient care as needed.
- Administer agents/pharmaceuticals under radiologist supervision.
- Follow infection control practices per departmental manual.
- Monitor inventory levels, equipment condition, and report issues; recommend purchases.
- Ensure accurate recording and transmission of patient information.
- Ensure safety of patients, visitors, and staff.
- Participate in flexible work hours, including overtime and MRI call as needed.
- Maintain current credentials as required by MMC.
- Participate in continuing education, completing at least 12 CE hours annually in MRI.
- Stay informed about current trends and developments in MRI technology.
- Assist in training radiography students.
- Perform other related duties as required.
