• Location: Springfield, IL 62769 (Illinois healthcare jobs)
• Setting: Cardiac/Pulmonary Telemetry Unit
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 20, 2025
• End Date: January 18, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (NOC), every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratio: 1:6-7, supported by 2 unit techs
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1950-$2090

• Active Illinois RN license (Illinois nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Strong clinical skills in cardiac and pulmonary patient care
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Monitor and assess patients with cardiac and pulmonary conditions in a telemetry unit
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record
• Respond to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate interventions
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families
