. This organization is committed to delivering expert pension service to Illinois public educators. As a Database Administrator, you will perform key database administration tasks on Linux, Windows, and Azure environments, supporting the software development and application teams.

• Perform database administration assignments for systems and applications running on Linux and Windows server platforms.
• Support the complete software development life cycle from conception to deployment in an Agile environment.
• Review and ensure database integrity using standardized support tools.
• Modify and test changes to previously developed programs.
• Support both Dev Ops and New Feature development.
• Document and maintain software functionality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Create and develop well‑designed and testable code aligning with current database standards.
• Be available to troubleshoot SQL Server service outages even after‑hours and weekends.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or combination of education and relevant experience.
• 3+ years of database administration experience.
• Specific experience in database design and implementation.
• Open to new ideas and encourages innovative practices among peers.
