Job Responsibilities:
Set up, maintain, and manage a secure lab environment in Warrenville.
Rack, cable, and configure physical servers and supporting hardware.
Install and configure Windows Server (2019/2022/2025).Deploy and manage virtual machines using hypervisors (ESXi, Hyper-V, Proxmox).Configure RAID storage and server hardware components.
Use GUI tools to configure and update firewall rules (Cisco FTD/FPD).Support implementation and testing of SIEM and next-generation monitoring systems (SIEM/STEM) for nuclear plants.
Document configurations, testing procedures, and system changes.
Troubleshoot server, virtualization, and basic network connectivity issues.
Ensure compliance with nuclear regulatory and security standards.
Server & Hardware
Experience with server racking, cabling, and hardware setupRAID configuration and storage management
Windows Server 2019/2022/2025 administration
Preferred hardware experience: HP servers, Cisco networking equipment
Virtualization
Hands-on experience configuring VMsHypervisors: ESXi, Hyper-V, Proxmox Networking Basic understanding of IP addressing, gateways, routing concepts
Ability to support firewall rule configuration via GUI (Cisco FTD/FPD)
Security / SIEMFamiliarity with SIEM tools (Splunk preferred but not mandatory)
Experience supporting monitoring and logging infrastructure
