Hybrid Role with ability to commute to either the Springfield, IL or East Peoria, IL campus

Candidates MUST reside in the state of Illinois and be within a 60 mile radius from the campus

Midwest Technical Institute (MTI), Delta Technical College (DTC), and MTI Online are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Information Technology team. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who enjoys digging into data, building meaningful reporting solutions, and partnering with business leaders to turn information into action.

You’ll work closely with our Product Owner and executive stakeholders to develop KPIs, dashboards, exception reporting, and scalable data solutions that help leaders identify trends, spot issues early, and make informed decisions.

• Develop and maintain organizational KPIs, business reporting, and executive dashboards.
• Build interactive Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot MS SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and views.
• Use Python for data analysis, automation, and pipeline development.
• Design and maintain ETL pipelines to clean, transform, and integrate data.
• Create exception reporting that identifies anomalies and out-of-threshold conditions.
• Work with MongoDB and/or Microsoft Fabric within modern data platform environments.
• Partner directly with executives and business leaders to translate reporting needs into actionable solutions.
• Support emerging AI-driven analytics initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field—or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Reporting Analytics.
• Proficiency with Python for data analysis and automation.
• Hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Experience with MongoDB, Microsoft Fabric, or other modern data platforms.
• Ability to confidently work with executive-level stakeholders and translate business needs into effective reporting.

This isn’t a position where you’ll simply pull reports. You’ll have the opportunity to help shape how data is used across the organization
, develop executive-level reporting, improve how quickly we identify trends and exceptions, and contribute to the continued evolution of our data and analytics capabilities.
