Property and Casualty independent insurance agency in the Springfield, IL area has an immediate need for a FULL-time Farm/Agriculture, Commercial Account Executive
. Over the last 11 years, they have developed an excellent reputation for providing client-focused solutions with high customer service for farms, agri-business, personal, and commercial insurance needs.
The Account Executive will be an extremely organized, self-motivated key player to the team. Responsibilities include servicing and managing a book of agriculture and farm accounts, commercial accounts, and some personal lines accounts. The role involves servicing and retaining customers, managing renewals, preparing certificates of insurance, endorsements, submissions, managing quotes and proposals, answering coverage questions, and monitoring claims. The Account Executive will develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and carrier partners, market submissions to carriers, and negotiate pricing for renewals and new policies.
Experience with multiple carriers is a plus.

Compensation
Salary plus bonuses and profit sharing. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, sick days, and paid Summer Fridays.
Qualifications
Current P&C License required. Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience preferred. Minimum of 3 years of agriculture/farm insurance experience. Customer-service oriented professional with an engaging, team-player attitude preferred.
