Litigation Associate

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate with over four years of experience to join its Consumer Financial Services & Government Litigation practice in Springfield, IL. This role offers the opportunity to handle significant responsibilities in state and federal court matters, defending financial institutions in various litigation contexts.

• Defend financial institutions in single-plaintiff and class action litigation.
• Manage cases in both state and federal courts.
• Conduct depositions and mediations.
• Attend court hearings and prepare legal documents.

• Admitted to the IL Bar in good standing.
• Experience in federal litigation and consumer financial services preferred.
• Proficiency in handling contested foreclosure and consumer debt litigation.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
