Branch Manager

A growing midwest building materials distributor is seeking a Branch Manager to lead its Springfield operation. This hands-on role combines sales growth, team development and daily operations. You’ll build relationships with contractors and business owners while managing the people, inventory and costs that drive branch performance.

• Wholesale distributor serving residential and commercial building markets.
• Product offering includes roofing, siding, windows, doors and decking.
• Established, family-owned business with a multistate branch network.

• Develop sales plans that grow customer accounts, market share and profitability.
• Hire, train and develop a customer-focused branch team.
• Manage inventory, operating costs, budgets and compliance.
• Build relationships with contractors and local business owners.
• Monitor competitors and market conditions to identify opportunities.
• Maintain an organized operation that delivers dependable customer service.

• Sales leadership experience in building materials, wholesale distribution, industrial supply or a related business.
• Experience hiring, training and developing employees.
• Working knowledge of inventory management, cost control and compliance.
• Clear communication skills and a practical approach to customer needs.
• Comfort with business-management software and Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience; valid driver’s license required.
