Cannabis Packaging Technician

Job Description
Viridian Staffing's (  ) Client is looking for Temporary Packaging Technicians to help with packaging duties during a very busy season for a cannabis company approximately 30 miles north of the Springfield, Illinois area. These full-time positions are expected to start on or around October 24 and go for 29 calendar days. For workers who do a great job, there is the potential for this to convert to a permanent position.

Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing is the Original staffing, recruiting, and HR consulting firm solely dedicated to organizations in and supporting the commercial, medical, and industrial cannabis / hemp industry.

As a Packaging Technician, you will help to measure cannabis products, package the product, and then label the product accordingly. You will also get to help collect samples and perform tests to ensure quality. You may perform a variety of other processing tasks as needed. While experience packaging cannabis is not required, you should have experience adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures.

Attention to detail and the ability to closely follow standard operating procedures is required. You should also have the ability to sit, stand, twist, and kneel for up to 8 hours. Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Eligible to work for a licensed Cannabis company in the State of Illinois
• Willingness to comply with OSHA regulations

Pay Rate: starting at $14/hour
