Responsibilities- Perform work under direct supervision, handling basic issues and referring more complex ones to higher-level staff.
- Possess working knowledge of the finished product and required features and quality standards.
- Meet with the shift supervisor or lead to understand priorities and job order.
- Collaborate with the prior shift operator during the 30‑minute overlap to understand machine‑specific issues.
- Test and inspect machines for safe and efficient operation.
- Perform routine machine calibrations based on procedures or management instructions.
- Set up and warm up the machine if not already done by the prior operator.
- Read job tickets to determine proper materials and setup.
- Pull necessary materials and load new jobs.
- Load and unload materials and finished products based on machine guidelines.
- Clean the machine stations per the cleaning checklist.
- Swap out machine consumables based on quality feedback, lifespan schedule, or when parts are empty.
- Check that items produced pass quality control tests at each designated stage.
- Perform First Article Inspection to ensure all quality standards are met.
- Perform hand inspection when quality needs to be controlled to eliminate defects.
- Notify maintenance and supervisor/lead immediately of any machine maintenance issues.
- Notify supervisor/lead immediately of any quality issues and follow containment procedures.
- Remove waste and shred waste materials when bins are full per security guidelines.
- Follow all safety and security policies and take scheduled breaks as outlined in the policy.
- Check emails for updates on policies and other notifications and to complete assigned tasks.
- Follow all company established policies and procedures and attend required meetings and training.
- Perform other level‑appropriate duties as required.
- Must be a sole U.S. citizen without dual citizenship.
- Must pass background screening requirements, including criminal history, education, credit, and drug screen, and obtain any required program specific credentials and certifications.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- No prior experience is needed.
Hourly range: $18.00–$25.64 per hour, plus benefits.
