Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro Surgical Unit

The role is a Full Time - Night Shift RN on 4G, involved in daily rounding with the stroke team. The unit has varying acuity, with some patients having high acuity, and the average length of stay is around 2 days. A top candidate would work on 4G because it offers a learning and changing environment, close collaboration with physicians, a fast pace, and the ability to see patient progress.

Salary: USD $30.23 per hour. Maximum USD $48.37 per hour.

Sign‑on Bonus up to $20,000.00.

• Delegate, supervise, and provide nursing care for a designated group of patients through the nursing process.
• Provide age‑appropriate care.
• Participate in research when appropriate and apply findings to evidence‑based practice.
• Contribute to quality improvement processes.

  Nursing Division Mission, Vision, and Philosophy; ANA Code of Ethics; and Illinois Nursing Act.

• ADN required; BSN preferred.

• Licensed RN in the State of Illinois.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per policy.

• Ability to position/transfer an average adult patient, withstand prolonged periods of standing, and perform IV insertion and IM injections.
• Awareness of environmental hazards, including exposure to blood, bodily fluids, tissue, contagious diseases, and potentially hazardous materials.
