• Job Title: PICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nurse
• Location: Springfield, Illinois 62769
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Unit: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• Start Dates: January 2026 starts available (must end by March 14, 2026)
• Contract Duration: 10 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (NOC), every other weekend, no on-call
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,410 - $2,580

• Active Illinois RN license required (must be in hand at time of application)
• Minimum 1 year of recent PICU nursing experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• Ability to provide requested time off (RTO) at time of submission

• Deliver specialized, compassionate care to pediatric patients in the PICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate and support patients' families during critical care situations
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and staff
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
