• Unit: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: January 5, 2026 (December start dates available)
• End Date: March 15, 2026
• Contract Length: 10 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,410 - $2,580
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (NOC), every other weekend, no on-call
• Hours per Week: 36

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent PICU nursing experience
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with application
• Strong clinical skills, communication, and teamwork abilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and advanced interventions as prescribed
• Educate and support families throughout the pediatric critical care process
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff
