Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 4 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in IMC, PCU, and stepdown units, ensuring safety and compliance with standards
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergency situations as needed
• Manage complex medical cases including post-cardiac procedures, neurological trauma, and orthopedic surgeries

• Perform advanced IV therapy, port access, and medication administration, including vasoactive and cardiac drips.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Illinois RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a similar high-acuity setting (IMC, PCU, or Stepdown)
• Current BLS and NIH certifications; ACLS preferred
• Proficiency in telemetry interpretation and emergency response protocols
• Ability to manage complex cardiovascular, neurological, and respiratory cases
• Competency in advanced IV therapy, med management, and hemodynamic monitoring

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic charting systems
• Previous work in a Level I trauma or teaching hospital setting
• Familiarity with neuro, ortho, or cardiac surgical cases
• Capable of floating within scope to meet facility needs.

$2976 includes taxable hourly rate plus meals and lodging stipend. IDEAL JOB
