As a New Graduate RN at Springfield Memorial Hospital, you’ll receive the support you need to transition from student to professional nurse. Through a structured, nationally recognized Nurse Residency Program, you’ll gain hands‑on experience in a collaborative environment, surrounded by experienced nurses, preceptors and mentors dedicated to your success.

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care that makes a real difference in patients’ lives.
• Develop critical thinking and clinical judgment skills through structured training and mentorship.
• Work alongside experienced nurses, physicians and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Engage in a comprehensive Nurse Residency Program designed to strengthen your confidence and leadership skills.
• Participate in monthly residency sessions, collaborating with fellow new RNs to share experiences and best practices.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives that drive better patient care and safety.

You’re a compassionate and motivated new graduate RN eager to develop your clinical skills and provide high-quality patient care.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
• Active or pending RN license in Illinois
• BLS certification required

• New graduate RNs encouraged to apply (no experience required)

Pay Transparency $30.23 - $48.37

Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
