Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center is looking for a DIETARY COOK to join our team. We are a 97‑bed facility located in Springfield, Illinois, dedicated to providing youth with compassionate mental health treatment.

The Dietary Cook is responsible for the preparation, cooking, and serving of nutritional meals that meet the daily nutritional needs of patients and facility staff in accordance with approved menu cycles. The cook assists the Consultant Dietitian in preparing for special functions and other special events that may occur.

Education: High school diploma/GED required.

Experience: Experience in quantity cooking required, at least two (2) years strongly preferred. Experience utilizing industrial kitchen equipment and utensils.

Licensure/Certification: Training in food service sanitation, possession of a food service sanitation certificate, and successful completion of CPR certification within 90 days of employment.
