Job Summary

At Malibu Jack’s, we’re all about creating unforgettable experiences for guests of all ages. We’re looking for a Community Outreach & Sales Coordinator who will focus heavily on outside sales, relationship building, and driving event bookings
. This role is all about getting out into the community, promoting Malibu Jack’s as the go-to destination for group events, and bringing in new business.

Evening and weekend availability required. Must be at least 21 years old.

What You’ll Do Sales & New Business Development
  • Proactively generate new leads by contacting local schools, businesses, churches, and community organizations.
  • Conduct outside sales calls, in-person visits, presentations, and tours to promote group events and party packages.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals by booking birthday parties, corporate events, fundraisers, field trips, and other group outings.
  • Distribute promotional materials and create brand visibility in targeted areas.
  • Track all leads, follow-ups, and opportunities to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Community Outreach & Relationship Building
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with local organizations, schools, and community leaders.
  • Attend networking events, expos, festivals, and community programs to represent Malibu Jack’s.
  • Support sponsorship efforts and local partnerships that increase brand visibility.
  • Maintain long-term relationships that encourage repeat visits and referrals.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist with special events, marketing initiatives, and seasonal programs as needed.
  • Share ideas and help develop strategies to grow group sales, improve outreach efforts, and expand community presence.
Education, Qualifications & Experience
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in sales, outreach, customer service, or event coordination—preferably in entertainment, hospitality, or tourism.
  • Proven success in outside sales or business development.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in presenting to groups.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple leads and deadlines.
  • Passion for customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
