Sales Engineer - Industrial Filtration

We are an established industrial filtration solutions provider headquartered in St. Louis, MO, and part of a larger employee-owned flow control organization. We supply replacement filter elements, filter vessels and housings, self-cleaning and custom filtration systems, and lab fluid analysis to manufacturers, processors, and data centers across the Midwest.

We are looking for a Sales Engineer / Territory Manager to grow industrial filtration sales across Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Southern Iowa, and Southern Nebraska. You will manage and expand existing accounts, win new business, and serve as a technical resource helping customers select the right filtration solutions for their processes.

• Grow sales with existing customers and develop new accounts, with a focus on accounts with $5K+ in annual volume
• Meet or exceed sales, margin, and monthly forecast targets
• Prospect, cold call, and make regular face-to-face customer visits across the territory
• Evaluate customer filtration applications and prepare quotes for complex projects
• Partner with the pricing manager on pricing strategy
• Lead and meet regularly with an assigned Inside Sales Representative
• Manage implementation of new accounts and contracts, including strategic accounts
• Keep the CRM current with activity, opportunities, and account details

• 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience (required)
• Industrial, filtration, fluid power, pumps/valves, or MRO sales experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred (technical degree a plus); high school diploma required
• High mechanical aptitude and ability to discuss technical applications with plant and maintenance teams
• Hunter mentality with strong negotiation and closing skills
• Proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver's license; willing to travel up to 50% including overnights
