ENTRANCE ATTENDANT at Memorial Health

: USD $15.50/hr (to $21.44/hr)

The Entrance Attendant Screener will greet, screen and assist visitors, patients and colleagues as they enter Memorial facilities. Responsibilities include administering temperature checks and health questionnaires to ensure a safe environment, providing personal protective equipment, and guiding guests to services. The role supports MHS core values of Safety, Integrity, Quality and Stewardship.

High School education or G.E.D. equivalent required.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly
• Attention to professionalism and maintaining client confidentiality

• Proactively greet all customers at each entry.
• Communicate with guests and colleagues in a positive voice.
• Take appropriate action when observing disruptive or violent behavior.
• Assist customers requiring wheelchair or mobility support.
• Ensure driveways are safe and free of obstacles.
• Use an infrared thermometer to obtain temperature readings and ask basic screening questions.
• Interpret results and follow protocols.
• Control entry based on collected data; detain individuals until secondary screening if needed.
• Provide masks and additional information as instructed.
• Demonstrate flexibility, organization, and function well under stress.
• Respond to emergency situations promptly.
• Work indoors and stand for extended periods.
• Use provided PPE at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
