• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized or suspicious activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help deter potential threats and maintain a security-related presence.
• Interact with visitors, employees, and/or contractors to provide assistance and verify authorization as required by site protocols.
• Complete detailed reports and documentation regarding incidents, observations, and patrol activities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies at the location.
• Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate parties.

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is  at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
